Bruce Ramer re-chosen CPB chair

Bruce Ramer, among showbiz's most prominent lawyers, continues to be reelected as chairman from the board from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the nonprofit that allocates government funds to public media. Inside a tough budget climate, the CPB has to date fended off congressional calls to get rid of or seriously reduce funding for public broadcasting, including an attempt by House Republicans to zero out funding for NPR.
