I really love anime films by Studio Ghibli. I especially prefer the
pacing and mood of films by Hayao Miyazaki. I want something with
adventure but with a laid back ambiance. I'm not looking for maudlin
dramas, but more optimistic, quirky ones...with maybe some childlike
characters. Now, don't restrict your recommendations to animated
films, I don't care about where (any country) or when the film was
made. The films I'm looking for just have to fit the mood described
above.
