Some easy songs for a beginner on electric guitar?

I have absolutely no idea how to play an electric or acoustic guitar.
I don't even now the chords or strings, or notes, and I barely know
how to read notes. I'm looking for very easy songs to play for someone
who has never played before. If there is a website with videos on how
to play electric guitar, that would be helpful, too. I really like
Adele, Maroon 5, Florence + The Machine, Coldplay, Lily Allen,
Scouting for Girls, John Mayer, and Jason Mraz, so any songs from
those artists or artists like those would be even better, but I'm fine
with whatever. Thanks!
